Honda, Ford both recall thousands of vehicles due to faulty equipment

If you drive a Honda, your vehicle may be one of the more than 550,000 vehicles on a recall list.

The affected cars are:? 2002 to 2004 CRV?s and 2003 Pilots.

Honda says the low-beam headlights can fail because of wiring problems. Owners will get recall notices in the mail starting in late April.

If you have questions about the recall, call 1-800-999-1009 and pick option 4.

Ford owners are also being warned of a recall. The company issued a recall of more than 140,000 of its Focus compact cars.

The company says the passenger side windshield wiper can fail.

The recalled cars were built from August 1, 20-10 through October 18 of 2011.

Ford expects to begin free repairs in late May. Owners with questions can call Ford at ?(866) 436-7332.
